The best concert ever
My favorite concert was when Roger Waters came to Chile in November of 2018. He presented at Estadio Nacional.
Roger Waters is an English musician and
singer-songwriter. He played a significant role in the formation of the rock
band Pink Floyd in 1965. He assumed the roles of lyricist, co-lead vocalist,
and conceptual leader, until he left the band in 1985.
At first, it was a bittersweet experience
because I was supposed to go with my dad, who is one of the biggest fans of
Pink Floyd, but unfortunately, because of his job he had to missed it. I ended
up going with my uncle so after all it was a fun experience.
This is my favorite concert because of the
quality of the show. I have gone to other concerts but none of them can compare
to this one. The sound was surround and so clear. Later, my uncle explained to
me that they had installed speakers all around the stadium to make it feel that
way.
Suddenly four chimneys started to rise behind the screens, I was so impressed because from my seat they looked like real factory chimneys. Also, they let loose a giant inflatable pig with the message “stay human”.
Overall, it was a concert full of political
messages. Roger Waters is known for being an activist and he showcases it at
his shows.
From afar, it's clear that this concert was a memorable and moving experience that transcended the music.

ResponderEliminarRoger Waters is my favorite member of Pink Floyd. He wrote a lot of brilliant albums, and gave all that dark political background to the band. I also love the film made for the album "The Wall".
