My favorite singer

 

Hello everyone!

In today’s blog I´m going to talk about my favorite singer, Lana Del Rey.

I started listening to Lana when I was 12 years old, now looking back at it, it was such a young age to listen to her.  I discovered her music on Tumblr, she was very famous on the site and her aesthetics immediately caught my attention.

At first, I didn’t paid attention to any of the lyrics, I just enjoyed her soft voice and beautiful instrumentals. Through the pass of the years I started to focus on her lyrics and the deep meanings behind these ones. They also started to make sense because of my new experiences I was having in my adolescence and early 20´s.

I feel that she has accompanied me through many years and difficult times, innumerable of her songs bring me a huge comfort and I will always be grateful for that. My favorite song of her now is “Let the light in” because it reminds me of my boyfriend and how much I love him.

I had the opportunity to watch her live at Lollapalooza 2018, and it was one of the best days of my life, she looked like an angel. It was a new experience because I was with my group of friends, but I lost all of them just before it started so I watched her set alone, I’ve never watched a concert alone but I really liked it because I was able to enjoy and not care about anything else, just Lana.
